PALESTINE vs ISRAEL

      CONFLICT OF PALESTINE AND ISRAEL

Territorial, religious, and political disagreements are at the heart of the protracted and profoundly ingrained Israel-Palestine conflict. Competing national aspirations are at the heart of the conflict; Palestinians want statehood and an end to occupation, while Israelis want security and legitimacy. Thousands of people have died, many have been displaced, and there are serious humanitarian problems as a result of the war, particularly in Gaza. Israeli settlements, Jerusalem's status, refugee rights, and reciprocal recognition are important topics. The majority of international attempts to mediate peace have failed. The region is still unstable due to the continued bloodshed, which also raises major humanitarian and security issues on a worldwide scale.

WHY ISRAEL IS NOT STOPPING THE WAR

There are a number of important reasons why Israel has not ended the conflict with Palestine, the majority of which have their roots in political conflicts, security concerns, and history :

Security Risks :   Israel bases its continued military activity in Gaza on the regular rocket assaults and threats made by Hamas and other militant organizations. It makes the case that it must protect its people from terrorism.

Political Deadlock : Disagreement over important issues like boundaries, refugees, and Jerusalem's status has caused peace negotiations between Israeli and Palestinian leaders to repeatedly fail.

Hamas-Israel Conflict: Israel and other nations view Hamas, the organization in charge of Gaza, as a terrorist organization and do not acknowledge Israel's right to exist. This complicates talks.
Territorial Disputes: The same land is claimed by both parties. Palestinians view Israel's siege of Gaza and continued authority over portions of the West Bank as occupation.

Mutual Mistrust: There is a great deal of mistrust due to decades of violence. Each party is afraid the other will renege on any arrangement.

In conclusion, unsolved historical concerns, continuous violence, governmental failures, and a lack of mutual trust all contribute to prolonged war.
